We advise you to visit among other places the winter/summer holiday resort in Lioran, situated at the foot of one of the highest volcanoes in Auvergne (the Plomb du Cantal, 1,858m), which offers a variety of sports aimed at all ages, levels and interests.

Chaudes Aigues is situated in the Cantal region (the Massif Central), in the Cantal part of Aubrac, near to the A75 to the East, 28km from Saint-Flour, 89km from Aurillac, 61km from Mauriac, 85km from Brioude, 110km from Puy, 195km from Clermont-Ferrand and to the West, 29km from Saint-Chély-d’Apcher, 80km from Mende, 120km from Millau and 220km from Béziers. The Millau viaduct (Averyron)

The most spectacular road link in La Méridienne: the A75 motorway, linking Clermont-Ferrand to Béziers and Narbonne.
It is the smoothest and cheapest route between Paris and the Mediterranean.

The menhirs and dolmens of Chanac (Lozère)

On Lozère territory can be found the largest concentration of menhirs and dolmens in France and Europe.
On the Sauveterre Causse plateau, the dolmens are known as ‘elbow-bend dolmens’.

Le Puy Mary (Cantal), labelled Great Site of France

The emblematic pyramid of Puy Mary (1787m) proudly presides over the Cantal volcano, the biggest volcano in Europe (2700km).
The Great Site is home to a rich nature preserved at the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Auvergne volcanoes.
The 8535 hectares which spread in a star shape over the ridges from the summit of Puy Mary are now classed as a natural site (1930 law).

Aven Armand (Lozère)

Passing through a 200m long tunnel, the funicular will transport you 50m underground into the vast room which would easily fit the Notre-Dame de Paris.
Under careful lighting, more than 400 stalagmites raise their lacy teeth several metres into the air.
A world record, the ‘Grande Stalagmite’ reaches up to almost 30 metres in length.
