Back in shape
The effectiveness of a stay in Caleden is the result of a synergy of specific factors.
It is the action of the thermal agents contained in Caleden's mineral water, combined with the treatment techniques practised by our professionals and the support activities provided in a privileged environment, that enable you to get back into shape efficiently and sustainably...
Take advantage of the benefits of spa treatments to :
- Alleviate physical problems linked to stress, illness or poor posture at work,
- Recover after a sporting performance,
- Complete rehabilitation following an injury,
- Start getting back into shape,
- Maintain your health capital.
Chaudes-Aigues, the Cantal's only spa, is home to the hottest waters in Europe. The water from the springs is naturally warm and rich in minerals. Its therapeutic virtues are enjoyed by many people from all over the world who come here for thermal water-based treatments.
The treatments offered during a spa cure are tailored to the individual's needs. A doctor's approval is required for a cure. As soon as you arrive at the Caleden Spa Centre, our spa doctor will also meet with you to draw up the programme for your stay.
There are two types of spa treatment:
Free spa treatment: a short preventive and well-being treatment, not covered by health insurance. A cure over a period to suit your availability, with treatments prescribed by Caleden's spa doctor.
Approved spa treatment (rheumatology accreditation): therapeutic cure for in-depth treatment or relief of rheumatic conditions, degenerative rheumatism, arthritis, sciatica, cervico-brachial neuralgia, fibromyalgia and chronic pain. Covered by health insurance if the cure includes 18 consecutive days of treatment.
Our certifications
Caleden does everything in its power to guarantee the quality of its thermal treatments. That's why the thermal baths have signed up to the Aquacert quality approach, which guarantees compliance with procedures in terms of health safety, hygiene and water quality, as well as the quality of our welcome for spa visitors and staff training. The 2020 audit enabled us to renew our AES certification obtained in 2011.
